Christophe’s passion for good food and wine comes from one of France’s pristine and remote rural regions, where nature and food and wine blend into one. His cuisine is true to the farmhouse and slow food of provincial France. Christophe will take you on a personalised and intimate food and wine adventure in his regions: Les Vosges and Alsace, France.

The 10 day tour will marry food and wine, natural beauty and historic places. You will experience the exceptional beauty of the Vosges mountain ranges and lakes of Les Cretes, 1424m in altitude.

Les Vosges is a region where traditional and ancient culinary techniques are still practiced today. The tour will focus on on visits to farmhouses where we will witness traditions such as cheese making, chocolate making, chacuterie, brewery and the famous Vosges lollies – bonbons made from natural and local fruit essence. The highlight will be the visit to Christophe’s Hospitality School in Gerardmer where a cooking demonstration will be conducted. The tour includes a once in a lifetime visit of the therapeutic thermal bathes at historique and beautiful Plombieres Les Bains. Built by the Romans and made famous by Napoleon 111.

Alsace is a picturesque and breathtakingly beautiful wine region. Late September and October is the time for the vendanges – the wine making season. You will be witness to this busy season and will participate in the Nouveau Vin Festival. The tour will include visits to vineyards and wine tasting. You will visit the most beautiful towns and cities of Alsace; Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauville, St Hippolyte and Colmar.
