Bungendore-based photographer, graphic artist & web designer - Tim Anger - is the driving force behind enigma Creative Media. He has held a keen interest in photography since early highschool, but has only recently determined to share his passion with a wider audience - beyond family & friends.

He is interested in finding the beauty in objects with his lens - using abstract angles & post processing to bring fresh appreciation to some old icons.

Le Très Bon French retaurant will be holding a special evening this July 14th to celebrate Bastille Day. Master Chef Christophe Gregoire will prepare a delicious and traditional dish - cassoulet - a hearty, slow-cooked stew which would warm the heart and soul of anyone in the depths of winter {see menu below}. So please join us on the barracades at Le Très Bon for a wonderful evening of good food, great wine, French music and joyous celebration. Muster your enthusiam and together we will goad Christophe and his French compatriates into a rousing rendition of La Marseillaise - not to be missed!

Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is called Fête Nationale (National Holiday), in official parlance, or more commonly quatorze juillet (14th of July). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.

People have been photographing the city of love - Paris - and indeed all of France for as long as we’ve had cameras.

In early 2008, Tim Anger travelled to Paris and the Loire Valley to resample the icons; the people; and the ‘savoir vivre’ of France through his lens. The most recognisable icon - the Eiffel tower - features in a number of his photographs. As la Tour Eiffel was built in 1889 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution, it is entirely appropriate that this exhibition be launched as part of our 2008 Bastille Day celebrations.

The exhibition is titled, la brume de l'hiver which translates as the mist or fog of winter. A series of images from his trip - taken during the depth of the French winter - will be displayed at Le Très Bon restaurant in Bungendore - opening in conjunction with Bastille Day celebrations and continuing through until August.

Limited edition, framed artworks will be available for sale throughout this period.
